Organizations that focus on the rescue, rehabilitation and sheltering of domestic ferrets can be found across North America. These organizations are mostly nonprofit. Beside providing a safe haven for unwanted and abandoned pets, they also provide support and education for ferret owners in the communities which they serve. Funding is often difficult. Most staff are volunteers. The adoptions fees and fees for their services are usually nominal. So Ferret Rescues and Shelters are largely supported by generous donations and support from the Public. allFerrets wishes to promote and highlight their important work. We welcome their input and hope to assist them in their efforts. |
